Privacy Policy

This policy covers the WorkRun website and Android application (com.workrun.app), operated as WorkRun. For privacy questions and requests, email workrunservice@gmail.com.
Information we handle
We store your account identifier, name, email address, mobile number, membership IDs and status, booking timestamps, purchase amounts, payment references and status, referral attribution, and information you send to support. Member authentication stores a salted hash of your PIN. We also store session-token hashes, expiry times, login-attempt counters and administrative activity records. If you use a supported platform sign-in, we receive the account identity supplied by that platform.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, manage memberships and bookings, reconcile payments, display member benefits and coupons, manage referrals, provide support, prevent misuse and resolve transaction issues.
Payments, verification and hosting
Razorpay processes payments and receives information needed to complete and verify your transaction. WorkRun stores transaction references and status, not your full card number or UPI credentials. Mobile and PIN login is available. If you use an enabled SMS or WhatsApp OTP feature, Twilio processes your mobile number and verification request to deliver and verify the code.
Our hosting and database infrastructure providers process information needed to operate the service. Technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and errors, may be processed by hosting infrastructure for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Providers may process information outside your country. Their services have their own privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by a valid legal request or necessary to investigate misuse or protect the service and its users.
Referrals
Referrers can see referral dates and qualification status. The referral dashboard does not disclose the referred member’s name, email address or mobile number to the referrer.
Cookies and browser storage
WorkRun uses necessary cookies and browser storage for login, guest bookings and referral drafts. Member login sessions expire after approximately 24 hours. Guest-booking access uses a private browser cookie lasting up to 30 days. Cookie expiry ends that access method; it does not automatically delete booking records. Clearing cookies may remove access to guest bookings through that browser. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, but disabling them may affect these features.
Advertising
WorkRun does not display advertisements. Information about WorkRun memberships, offers and benefits may still appear in the service.
Retention
Account, membership and booking records are retained to provide membership services and maintain transaction history. The application does not currently apply a fixed automatic deletion period to these records. Session access expires as described above; stored records may remain after expiry. Payment, administrative and fraud-prevention records may be retained where necessary for accounting, disputes, security or applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion or ask what information is retained for your account.
Access, corrections and deletion requests
Email workrunservice@gmail.com with the subject “WorkRun Account Deletion” to request deletion of your account and associated personal information, or “WorkRun Privacy Request” for access or correction questions. Include your registered mobile number or email address so we can identify the account. Do not send your PIN, password, OTP, card details or UPI credentials.
Requests are handled manually by support and may require account-ownership verification. There is currently no self-service account-deletion feature. If specific records must be retained for accounting, disputes, security or legal obligations, ask support for the reason and applicable retention period. Deleting an account and requesting a refund are separate requests.
Security
The service uses HTTPS, secure HTTP-only session cookies, hashed session tokens, salted PIN hashing and login rate limits. Access to administrative functions requires authentication. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your PIN private and contact support if you suspect unauthorised access.
Age eligibility
Membership purchases are restricted to people aged 18 or older. WorkRun is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

External payment and service-provider pages follow their own privacy policies. We may update this policy when our features or information practices change. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
